Professional. Integrity. Collaboration. Growth.

My name is Kacey.

My name is Kacey. I love art and creativity. I love my family and helping others. As an LPC, my superpower is helping individuals, couples, and families deal with life’s challenges, so they are able to discover and reach their full potential. As well as my education, I have completed Gottman’s Couples Level l training to better help each of you.

I believe strong family and personal relationships are the cornerstone of personal growth and emotional development. I work with adolescents, teens, adults, couples, and families to help bring them together in a mutual understanding of what each individual needs to make for a successful family or personal relationship. I want to help all individuals and family units strengthen and improve all relationships they encounter in their lives.

My experiences as an LPC help me give each individual and family system the best and most recent approach in counseling. This helps me to serve and help diverse client groups and promote positive, effective, and long-lasting life changes. My specialties are individuals, couples, and families experiencing behavioral issues and conflict.

Hi there! First off, thank you for being here, and congratulations on taking this important step. Starting therapy can feel like a big deal (because it is!), so go ahead and give yourself a well-deserved pat on the back. My top priority is to make this experience as comfortable and welcoming as possible for you. Therapy is a team effort, and I believe building a strong, trusting connection is the foundation for making real, lasting changes.

A little about my work: I’ve been in the mental health field for two years, helping people from all kinds of diverse backgrounds. I work with kids, teens, and adults who are dealing with things like anxiety, depression, stress, life changes, and family or relationship challenges. My approach is a focus on reframing negative thoughts, building emotional awareness, and boosting your self-confidence.

Now, a bit about me! I’ve lived in the Houston area pretty much my whole life, and I’m passionate about what I do. Outside of work, you’ll often find me outdoors, reading, gaming (yes, I’m a fan of both video and board games), watching movies, or exploring new restaurants with my wife. Oh, and fun fact—I’m probably the biggest Baltimore Ravens fan in all of Houston!

My name is Dr. Shawn.

Hey there! I'm so excited to connect with you and share a bit about myself. I am the owner of Wind Rose Counseling at Pearland Counseling Center. I've learned how to make my work as a therapist enrich my personal life outside the office.

I have always lived in the Houston area. I am a kid at heart, passionate about my family, my church, and my dogs. In my spare time, I enjoy camping, going to the beach, riding motorcycles, and hiking. My biggest accomplishment is my own mental health journey to wholeness after childhood trauma.

For the past 14 years I have been a therapist in private practice and dedicated myself to working with individuals, preteens, adolescents, adults, and couples dealing with infidelity, anxiety, couple/marriage issues, depression, emotional regulation, stress, or trauma. I also offer pre-marital counseling and Discernment Counseling for those transitional moments in life. I am trained as a mental health provider in Collaborative Law.

I am committed to offering you a safe and supportive environment where you can achieve your goals and tackle your concerns head-on using effective interventions including EMDR and Sand Tray Therapy. Brisco and Danny, my furry co-therapists, often attend sessions to provide extra support.
