Hi! My name is Ana.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and psychologist with over seven years of experience in counseling, care coordination, and behavioral health. I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University and my Bachelor’s in Clinical Psychology from Universidad Francisco Marroquín in Guatemala City.
I’ve had the privilege of working in hospitals, schools, and community health programs, supporting children, teens, adults, and families. Along the way, I’ve provided individual counseling, psychoeducation, crisis intervention, and care coordination for people facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, and major life transitions.
As a bilingual (Spanish/English) and bicultural therapist, I care deeply about creating a safe and welcoming space where you feel understood. My approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centered—I’ll meet you where you are and walk with you toward your goals. With children, I often use play therapy to help them express emotions, build coping skills, and make sense of their experiences in a natural way.
At the heart of my work is a passion for helping people discover their strengths, heal from the past, and move forward with resilience and confidence.
I accept Cigna and Aetna. My self pay rate is $100.

Hi! My name is Brittany.
Grounded in balance and guided by compassion, I strive to create an empowering space for healing, growth, and meaningful change. I partner with clients to cultivate resilience, clarity, emotional balance, and inner peace while navigating life’s shifting terrain.
I support individuals, couples, and families in feeling seen, understood, and empowered throughout their healing journey. I believe therapy should be a safe, collaborative space where you can explore your experiences, learn new skills for managing difficult emotions and life events, strengthen self-awareness, and move toward lasting change at a pace that feels supportive and authentic.
I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from Colorado State University before completing a year of service through AmeriCorps, where I provided more than 1,700 hours of support to at-risk adolescents. I later earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Denver through the advanced standing program. During my graduate studies, I also received certifications in Animal-Assisted Social Work and Canine-Assisted Therapy Interventions through the university’s Institute for Human-Animal Connection. I’m currently in the process of finding a new canine companion to join me in therapy sessions.
Licensed since 2019 and currently supervised by Sydney Adams Ordonio, LCSW-S, I have worked with diverse populations across residential, inpatient, and outpatient treatment programs, schools, forensic-related settings, and community-based services. This broad clinical background informs my trauma-informed, holistic, and person-centered approach to therapy.
I integrate evidence-based approaches including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Logotherapy, Family Systems, and Emotionally Focused Therapy. I support clients navigating mood concerns, personality-related challenges, trauma, relationship and marital distress, work and school stressors, life transitions, and the search for greater purpose, fulfillment, and emotional balance.
I feel deeply grateful that my life’s passion and career path are one and the same. It is truly an honor to walk alongside my clients as they build resilience, strengthen relationships, and reconnect with their most authentic selves.
I accept Cigna and Aetna. My self pay rate is $100.

My name is Dr. Shawn.
Hey there! I'm so excited to connect with you and share a bit about myself. I am the owner of Wind Rose Counseling at Pearland Counseling Center. I've learned how to make my work as a therapist enrich my personal life outside the office.
I have always lived in the Houston area. I am a kid at heart, passionate about my family, my church, and my dogs. In my spare time, I enjoy camping, going to the beach, riding motorcycles, and hiking. My biggest accomplishment is my own mental health journey to wholeness after childhood trauma.
For more than 15 years I have been a therapist in private practice and dedicated myself to working with individuals, preteens, adolescents, adults, and couples dealing with infidelity, anxiety, couple/marriage issues, depression, emotional regulation, stress, or trauma. I also offer pre-marital counseling and Discernment Counseling for those transitional moments in life. I am trained as a mental health provider in Collaborative Law.
I am committed to offering you a safe and supportive environment where you can achieve your goals and tackle your concerns head-on using effective interventions including EMDR and Sand Tray Therapy. And Danny, my furry co-therapist, often attend sessions to provide extra support.
Unfortunately, I am not accepting new clients at this time. However, Ana, Shelby, and Tyler are available to provide the support you need and I will be available to consult with them along the way.
