Hi! If you’ve made it here, you’re already taking a brave step. Whether you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or just not quite like yourself, therapy can help you reconnect with the parts of you that feel lost or silenced. You don’t have to carry it all alone.

I work with kids, teens, and adults, offering a warm, culturally affirming, and judgment-free space where you can show up exactly as you are. My approach is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs, drawing from CBT, person-centered, narrative, and trauma-informed care to support healing of the whole self—mind, body, culture, and soul.

As a bilingual therapist (English & Spanish) and woman of color, I’m committed to honoring your lived experience with compassion, curiosity, and care. Together, we’ll build tools to help you feel grounded, empowered, and more connected to yourself and your community.

When I’m not in the therapy room, you’ll find me exploring Houston, enjoying yoga or a good run, reading, cooking, or spending time with my dog. I bring that same spirit of openness and curiosity into my work and believe deeply in meeting people where they are.

Welcome!

As a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, Navy veteran, and mom, I’m passionate about supporting children, teens, young adults—and their families—through life’s challenges. Whether your child is struggling with emotional regulation, school stress, or behavioral concerns, or you’re a young adult feeling overwhelmed, I’m here to help.

I bring a unique blend of structure, empathy, and real-world experience to my work. With a Master’s in Clinical Psychology (focused on Clinical Counseling) and a background in Public Health, I understand the deep connection between mental health and overall well-being. I’ve worked with individuals in both inpatient and outpatient settings, and I use a client-centered, strengths-based approach to meet you where you are.

My focus areas include ADHD, anxiety, depression, defiance, and career counseling. I know these struggles can impact not just your day-to-day life, but also your relationships, confidence, and future goals. I offer a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow.

Therapy with me is collaborative, practical, and tailored to your needs. I integrate evidence-based approaches like CBT and DBT, and use developmentally appropriate interventions like play therapy when working with younger children. I also value open communication with parents and caregivers, ensuring we’re working as a team to support your child or teen’s growth.

I’m proud to be a part of Wind Rose Counseling, serving clients in Pearland and nearby communities. My goal is to help young people and families build resilience, find clarity, and move toward positive, lasting change.

Hi there! First off, thank you for being here, and congratulations on taking this important step. Starting therapy can feel like a big deal (because it is!), so go ahead and give yourself a well-deserved pat on the back. My top priority is to make this experience as comfortable and welcoming as possible for you. Therapy is a team effort, and I believe building a strong, trusting connection is the foundation for making real, lasting changes.

A little about my work: I’ve been in the mental health field for two years, helping people from all kinds of diverse backgrounds, including BIPOC and LGBTQ+. I work with kids, teens, and adults who are dealing with things like anxiety, depression, stress, life changes, and family or relationship challenges. My approach is a focus on reframing negative thoughts, building emotional awareness, and boosting your self-confidence.

Now, a bit about me! I’ve lived in the Houston area pretty much my whole life, and I’m passionate about what I do. Outside of work, you’ll often find me outdoors, reading, gaming (yes, I’m a fan of both video and board games), watching movies, or exploring new restaurants with my wife. Oh, and fun fact—I’m probably the biggest Baltimore Ravens fan in all of Houston!

Hey there! I'm so excited to connect with you and share a bit about myself. I am the owner of Wind Rose Counseling at Pearland Counseling Center. I've learned how to make my work as a therapist enrich my personal life outside the office.

I have always lived in the Houston area. I am a kid at heart, passionate about my family, my church, and my dogs. In my spare time, I enjoy camping, going to the beach, riding motorcycles, and hiking. My biggest accomplishment is my own mental health journey to wholeness after childhood trauma.

For more than 15 years I have been a therapist in private practice and dedicated myself to working with individuals, preteens, adolescents, adults, and couples dealing with infidelity, anxiety, couple/marriage issues, depression, emotional regulation, stress, or trauma. I also offer pre-marital counseling and Discernment Counseling for those transitional moments in life. I am trained as a mental health provider in Collaborative Law.

I am committed to offering you a safe and supportive environment where you can achieve your goals and tackle your concerns head-on using effective interventions including EMDR and Sand Tray Therapy. And Danny, my furry co-therapist, often attend sessions to provide extra support.
